Thank you to all who participated in Hatpins to Hashtags!

The Feminist Archive South would like to thank everyone who participated in our Hatpins to Hashtags project across the South West this year. It has been a fantastic experience to work with so many community groups, arts organisations, schools, colleges and, of course, amazing activists!

Across the three strands of the project- Politics and Protest touring exhibition, Digital Democracy training days and Feminist Futures educational workshops- we engaged thousands of people of all genders in exploring what we can learn from activist herstories.

We will continue sharing and reflecting on the highlights of the project in the New Year so do check back for more updates. If you participated in Hatpins to Hashtags and you feel inspired to write a blog, register on the website and get in touch. In the meantime, here are a few photos from our events and workshops.

Wishing you all a wonderful break and we look forward to reconnecting for more feminist activism in 2019- as Audre Lorde said, “Caring for myself is not self-indulgence, it is self-preservation, and that is an act of political warfare”!
